Guardian of the Ruins: From a Northern Campus to the Kunlun Fallen Ruins

Qin Yan, 21, is the handsome star of the archaeology department. He seems carefree, but carries the mystery of his father's disappearance. He is the only person who can hear the “Whispers of the Fallen Ruins,” encrypted warnings left behind by ancient guardians of the ruins. Deep within Kunlun lies a fallen ruin that has slept for ten thousand years. Magnetic miasma ravages the area, mutated creatures appear, and the guardians and devourers of the ruins have been locked in a thousand-year struggle. When a wave of magnetic miasma strikes the campus, Qin Yan meets Gu Qingying, a mysterious transfer student with a half-spirit constitution and a seal hidden beneath her collarbone. She turns out to be the reincarnation of the very first guardian of the ruins. The two forge a spirit pact and face the crisis together. Meanwhile, the feng shui master Cheng Jiuxiao enters the fray with his yin-yang arts, and the three form a team of gifted fighters. One trusted ally after another betrays them. A dark hand lurks within the guild, while Lu Wuwang, leader of the Ruin-Devouring Cult, closes in at every turn. As the whispers gradually reveal their secrets, Qin Yan discovers that the magnetic miasma is not a disaster, but the spark of civilization. With the world on the brink of remaking itself, he must choose between destruction and coexistence. The Listener has awakened. The battle to defend the ruins begins tonight.
