In 1994, heavy rains in the Han River tore up the mountains. Zhou Gensheng, a villager in the ancient tomb village, found a musty "Yin Ming Yao Shu" in an ancient cave in the landslide. This ancient book contained the "Three Yin Turning Cauldron to Borrow Life", which became the beginning of thirty years of murder. Three serial murders spanning 1994, 2004, and 2024 all ended with a ritual of "head removal, belly removal, and foot amputation." The corpses beside the ancient moat were always wrapped in mugwort ash; former detective Shen Qiao had been chasing unsolved cases for thirty years, and had gone from being a young police officer to retiring with gray hair.
