Two-Dimensional Flipping

Between the voluminous ancient books and the myths passed down orally, is there another kind of truth? Just imagine that our world is not a vast three-dimensional space, but an infinitely thin and infinitely wide plane. The change of day and night is not the rise and fall of stars, but the eternal and regular reversal of this plane between two higher-dimensional entities - "Yang" and "Yin". The sun, moon and stars we see are not entities, they are just the intangible entities that cast compassionate or indifferent light and shadow on our plane. In this universe, there is an insurmountable iron law: staying in the realm of projection is the only way to survive. Any attempt to trace the source of light and shadow, reproduce the power of the body, or break through the constraints of the plane is a taboo that shakes the foundation of the world. However, there is always a soul that is not willing to accept the fate of the shadow.
