Traces of Resonance

In "Scars of Resonance", Ling Mo can see the "Scars of Resonance" on creatures, but because he is unable to connect with regular alien beasts, he becomes a marginalized person in the world of beast control. Ten years ago, the mentor who studied the "forbidden beast" disappeared, leaving only a resonance stone engraved with incomplete lines and the message "Taboo is resonance sealed by fear." In an accident, Ling Mo rescued the forbidden beast "Shadow Tapir" that broke into human territory, and actually developed a "reverse resonance" with it that transcended control - able to share perceptions and exchange wills. He gradually discovers that the so-called "forbidden beasts" are not evil, but are just resonance marks that conflict with the current order; the "forbidden beast realm" is actually a prison where they are imprisoned, and the disappearance of his mentor is related to the revelation of this secret. As the cracks in the Forbidden Beast Realm increase, the alien beasts are deliberately "pushed" out. Ling Mo takes the Shadow Tapir on a journey: to find a mentor, uncover the truth of the seal, and prove that the earliest beast control master and the forbidden beast coexisted. He gathered similar "anti-resonators" to fight against the Alliance of Spiritual Contractors who saw them as a threat, just to break the shackles and allow all life to resonate freely.
