The Battle Against Fate

A meteorite from the distant Andromeda Galaxy crashed into Earth, unleashing chaos and catastrophe upon human civilization. The oceans mysteriously lost most of their water, while monstrous beasts rampaged across the globe.

The surviving humans rebuilt civilization and established defensive lines. Li Yang, born in a lawless region, enlisted and headed to the front.

Just as the defense line was on the verge of collapse, the Alliance Empire came to its rescue. Li Yang learned that his home had been destroyed and that he had been separated from the younger sister he depended on.

To find her, Li Yang and his companions from home stole a mecha from the Alliance Empire and unlocked the superintelligence within it. He became a wanted fugitive from the Empire, while also becoming entangled in the baffling mystery of his own origins.
