Walk Through the Abyss

This is a story about walking in the abyss. The Empire relies on systematically extracting the "pain" of the Outer Rim's inhabitants as energy source to keep the lights on civilization alive. Three travelers carrying the past - the clairvoyant Chen Fan, the guardian Fatty Wang, and the monk Jingse - are trudging through this desperate soil. They are not trying to save the world, but are struggling to protect the remaining goodwill and responsibility in the darkest system and human nature. Their existence itself is the most silent resistance to this abyss.
