This Lich Is Far Too Righteous

A lich is a powerful being with an almost eternal lifespan.

But every life must one day come to an end, and liches are no exception.

After an accident, I transmigrated into the body of a lich named Aaron, and to make matters worse, I inherited none of his memories...

Aaron admits he's panicking. Really panicking. After all, this lich is powerful, famous, and evil. That practically guarantees that his future will involve not only being hunted by humans and all sorts of good-aligned factions, but also dealing with his former subordinates, who spend every day fervently hoping he'll lead them to recreate their former “glory”!

Oh, no. This is absolutely the worst!

“Plant trees, do good deeds, and bring warmth to the whole world. So what if I'm a lich? Who says a lich can't be a good person? You're clearly discriminating against liches!”

Aaron cries out from the bottom of his heart.

Years later, when a true darkness capable of devouring the entire continent arrives, Aaron is already leading all the forces of righteousness at the very front of the battle!

What Aaron can't understand, though, is this...

Why do his former subordinates still think that everything he's done is part of some grand scheme?
