I Pretended to Be a Villain’s Follower, Only to Become the Future Saint

Ryan, who was used to speedrunning games with “even pressure” and only had a basic grasp of their stories, transmigrated into a game he was somewhat familiar with, The Sacred Era. But the moment he opened his eyes, he realized his situation was dire. If he didn’t act quickly, the “holy blood” would taint him from within, and then... he would be destroyed.

To survive, Ryan had no choice but to pretend to be a follower of the church.

He had only meant to weather the immediate crisis and run away when the time was right, leaving the adventurers or the righteous members of the Church of Holy Light to destroy the villains. But because he was only “partially familiar” with the story, he somehow rose higher and higher in the church, until the High Priest personally named him a... Saint, on par with the Saintess.

And so, years later, Ryan finally got the adventurers or the righteous folk from the Church of Holy Light he had been waiting for.

Only, they hadn’t come to “save” him.

All the righteous folk: “Ryan, Violet, you’re surrounded! Surrender at once!”
