Three Stars Accompany the Moon for Eternity

"Three Stars Accompany the Moon for Eternity" uses an intertwined structure of chronicles and themes to unfold the epic of protecting the Sanxingdui civilization across three generations over a century, connecting the two lines of individual persistence and civilization inheritance.​ In 1929, Yan Daocheng, a farmer in western Sichuan, unearthed ancient Shu ritual vessels, which opened Sanxingdui. In troubled times, he and scholars Ge Weihan and Chen Jingzhi took the risk of Japanese bombings and warlord plunder, and hid cultural relics in beams, cellars and even Chongqing air-raid shelters... Starting in 2024, a stone gall bladder with the word "Shu" and a bronze compass engraved with a star map were unearthed in Pit No. 8. DNA testing confirmed the genetic exchange between the ancient Shu and Xia dynasties. The Longji Mountain jade plaque "Zhongxia has Shu, Shu has Zhongxia" and the inscription on the bronze altar "Yu patrolled the land of Shu" completely connect the Yangtze River and Yellow River civilizations. In the end, Yan Xiao was appointed as the site director, Sanxingdui was listed as a World Heritage Site, and the time capsule under the saponaria tree symbolized the protection of sustainability.​ The work digs deep into the spiritual core: three generations of people have practiced and protected the jade with their lives (Yan Daocheng hid jade, Yan Weidong earthquake snatched cultural relics, and Yan Xiao rainstorm guarded Fang), and folk forces also helped; through ancient Shu ornaments and Erlitou, Egypt, and Liangzhu civilizations, the multi-faceted pattern of Chinese civilization was reconstructed; scientific and technological restoration and archeology classes opened up the future. Images such as the honey locust tree, the bronze sacred tree, and jade cong patterns connect three generations of pursuits and illuminate the resonance between individual destiny and the long river of civilization.
