Beacon Glory

"Glory" is a novel based on the anti-Japanese struggle in Northeast China after the September 18th Incident. The story revolves around the youth Shi Yiyi and the time traveler Ming Li Shi, telling their journey from spontaneous resistance to joining the anti-Japanese team led by the Communist Party, and finally growing into staunch revolutionaries. The novel begins on the night of the fall of Shenyang in 1931. Student Shi Buyi witnessed the atrocities of the Japanese army and rose up to resist. In the process of rescuing women and children, he met Ming Lishi, a seriously injured time traveler. The two jointly organized an anti-Japanese volunteer army and carried out guerrilla warfare in the mountains and forests. In the baptism of battle, they gradually realized that only the Communist Party could lead the people in the war of resistance, so they led the team to find party organizations, and finally joined forces with the Eighth Route Army. The work describes in detail the establishment and development of the Hongshigou base area: organizing the masses to open up wasteland to run schools, establishing arsenals, developing intelligence networks, and carrying out cultural education. Through battles such as the Heifengkou ambush, the surprise attack on the arsenal, and the Liuhe Town defense battle, the heroic wisdom of the anti-Japanese soldiers and civilians was demonstrated. At the same time, it also depicts multiple challenges such as internal traitor crises, food shortages, and natural disasters, highlighting the spirit of military and civilian unity to overcome difficulties. The theme of "glory" runs through the entire story - not only the glory of humanity in the flames of war, but also the persistence of ideals across time and space, and the bravery and dedication of ordinary people in the torrent of history.
