Singularity of the Heart

In the middle of the 22nd century, the world is running under the "Lingxi Network". This global neural network managed by the super artificial intelligence "Hongjun" allows human consciousness to be seamlessly connected and knowledge to be plug-and-play. Cities are ecological buildings that can repair themselves, and interstellar travel is like taking a high-speed train. This is the daily life brought about by "new adventures under new technologies" - human beings have spread their footprints all over the solar system and are building a new home in the Mars colony "New Chang'an". However, behind this highly technological "future human life" are deep social rifts. The elite have achieved near-immortality through genetic optimization and consciousness uploading, while ordinary people have gradually lost their sense of reality in the nipple fun of the virtual world, their emotions have become indifferent, family relationships have become virtualized, and people are completely isolated from nature. This is the "real problem" discussed in theme one: technology has solved material scarcity, but it has plunged human beings' inner world into a deeper emptiness.
