Don't Rush Me! Wait Until I Finish Drawing Before You Confess

Bu Fan, once the undisputed king of overwork in the gaming world, wept himself unconscious outside the ICU. When he opened his eyes, he had returned to his senior year of high school, repeating the grade... Chu Xingyao was alive, glaring at him over a plate of osmanthus cakes. “Bu Fan, your designs are flatter than the board my mom rolls dumplings on!”

This time, the overworked workhorse vowed to turn over a new leaf: the folds in flying clothes would be soft as clouds, the osmanthus cakes round as glutinous rice balls, and even the game NPCs' lines would include the cheesy pickup lines Chu Xingyao loved. But the more he changed, the stranger things got. Chu Xingyao pushed him harder for his work, found every excuse to share his meals, and snatched his drawing tablet. Finally, blushing, she handed him a love letter. “Actually, I wanted to date you back then. I was afraid you were such a workaholic that you'd never have time for dates.”

Bu Fan finally understood: being reborn wasn't about giving him another chance to finish his design drafts. It was a chance to make up, with interest, for all the romance work had cost him! Though sometimes Chu Xingyao watched him revise his drafts and muttered, “How come your drawings suddenly look so much better? Did you secretly enroll in an art and design class at the senior college?”
