Remnant Monument

During the Republic of China, the backwater town of Huaiyin circulated the legend of "Water Ghost Lati" - a person who died unexpectedly had to drag a living person to drown before he could be reincarnated. Chen Wen, a teacher in the town, did not believe in evil until his student mysteriously drowned in the black water pool outside the town. The circumstances of his death were exactly the same as the legend.
