On the Way Home

Introduction to "The Way Home" In 1959, Cheng Zongxin, a top scientist who returned from Germany, was transferred to the Shennongjia Forestry Area in Hubei Province. He met and fell in love with local girl Xiao Xia. However, Cheng Zongxin's obsessive research on the "Death Valley", a forbidden area at the heart of the forest, pushed the lovers into the abyss of fate. While exploring Death Valley, Cheng Zongxin triggered a space-time passage left over from ancient times and mysteriously disappeared, leaving only a family heirloom jade pendant given by Xiao Xia. The way home is at the top, and the watch is at the bottom. This is a father-son relay that spans time and space, a civilization's self-salvation at the time of survival, and a return path to the stars and the sea paved with knowledge, courage and sacrifice.
