Call Me the Dao Venerable of Karma

Should good people really have knives pointed at them?

That's how the world works, but Qi Yu refuses to accept it.

He awakens memories of his past life and senses a Book of Karma deep within his soul. From then on, he understands what karma is.

Do good and reap good? Not necessarily.

Old Doctor Zhang has spent decades saving lives and helping others. Everyone knows what a good man he is, yet he still loses his son in his old age.

If nothing changes, there won't even be anyone to see him off when his time comes.

Meanwhile, the landlord Old Huang exploits the common people while enjoying the good life.

What kind of cruel irony is that?

Most of the good you do can, through the tricks of fate, become someone else's good fortune. You might even end up inheriting the bad consequences of the evil deeds someone before you committed.

Qi Yu has the Book of Karma and can pluck and graft both good and bad outcomes. Now things are going to get interesting.

Qi Yu: When I attain the Dao, this world will reward good deeds with good outcomes and evil deeds with evil outcomes. Good and evil will both be repaid in the end. I say so, and even the Heavenly Dao can't change it.

Goddess of Fate: Venerable Daoist of Power, stop hitting me! Hit me any more and you'll ruin my face. This little lady gives in!

Qi Yu pauses briefly: “Call me Venerable Daoist of Karma!!!”

Then he keeps beating her up.
