We're All Trainers, but I Can See Character Traits

[Urban Fantasy + Traits + Unorthodox Animal Trainer + Adorable Beasts]

Veteran veterinarian and rookie dog trainer Song Zhao

stares at the little troublemakers making a scene before him,

and feels completely overwhelmed.

All he can do is see the traits floating above animals’ heads.

He thought he could use that ability to become a successful trainer of special service dogs.

How did things end up like this?

On the left, a crested goshawk faces off against a little squirrel;

on the right, a special service dog is about to duel a stray cat,

while an otter watching the commotion nearly gets carried off by a passing bird.

And then there are the first-, second-, and third-place national champions, convinced they’re hiding well when they’re really leaving their hindquarters exposed, calling over their friends to watch the show.

What’s the deal? Are you all so full from watching the action that you don’t need the food chain anymore?

Song Zhao watches the traits drifting all over the place

and sighs. The path of an unorthodox trainer isn’t an easy one.
