Return to the North

This is a story about me and my three childhood friends who went from a mountain village to big cities such as Beijing and Xi'an, and then went up and down on different trajectories due to career, health, family and other reasons, helping each other and reuniting. It shows the diversity and resilience of individual destiny under the changing times, and explores hometown and foreign land, ideals and reality, struggle and health, money and friendship. It reflects the mental journey of young people in the new era from "going out" to "coming back".
