Douluo Dalu: Abandoned by Shi Nian, Time Stopped from the Start

Shi Chen transmigrates to Douluo Dalu and becomes the son of Shi Nian of Canghui Academy. After awakening a Mutated Martial Soul, a “Broken Hourglass,” with Innate Soul Power of level one, everyone considers it trash, even worse than a Trash Martial Soul. His own father, Shi Nian, regards him as a disgrace, casts him out, and banishes him to Fallen Leaf Town to waste away the rest of his life. What no one knows is that Shi Chen’s Martial Soul is the Hourglass of Time, with the ultimate attributes of time and space! It can grow only by absorbing “Time Dust” and “the Regrets of the Strong”! He ventures alone into the Soul Beast Mountains. In the ruins of an ancient battlefield, his Martial Soul is restored for the first time, granting him the soul skill [Time Stop]! From then on, the continent has a new master of time and space. He hunts Soul Beasts in stopped time and comprehends sword intent amid annihilation. Ning Rongrong of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect grows curious about him, while the Saintess of Spirit Hall takes notice… Years later, at the Continental Soul Master Elite Tournament, Shi Nian stares, white-faced, at the young man in white who has swept the field with a single sword strike and made his name across the continent. “You… You’re my useless son?!” Shi Chen gives a faint smile. The hourglass turns back, and time and space stand still. “Shi Nian, do you understand? Time passes and the world changes. Even a good-for-nothing can become a god.” (Multiple heroines, Tang San gets put through the wringer, and the protagonist is ruthless and decisive.)
