Embers of Olympus: Moonlight Contract of Thorns

This is a fantasy adventure novel with Greek mythology as its core. It tells the story of Su Nian, an ordinary high school student, and Lu Yu, the awakener of Poseidon, who jointly fight against the earth goddess Gaia and prevent the resurrection of the giant Alcyonius. Su Nian accidentally obtained a bronze mirror engraved with a special olive branch pattern at the antique market, and unexpectedly became a "container" carrying the power of Athena. Through the white bird, Athena's messenger in the mirror, she met Lu Yu, who had awakened the power of Poseidon at the seaside. The two learned that Gaia's "Earthbinders" were searching for "vessels" in an attempt to seize the power of Athena to lift the seal of Alcyonius. Only by gathering the power of Athena, Poseidon and Zeus could this crisis of destruction be prevented. In order to complete the "Moonlight Ritual", awaken complete power and find Zeus's token, the two rushed to the Parthenon on the Acropolis of Athens. On the way, he encountered many attacks from Koos, the messenger of Gaia. Lu Yu was injured by Gaia's toxin, but Su Nian awakened part of Athena's will at the critical moment to repel the enemy. In the end, they successfully activated the bronze mirror before the full moon, and found a token engraved with Zeus's lightning pattern in the broken pillar. However, they also learned from Koos the secret of the "betrayer of Zeus" who had defected to Gaia - this struggle about the fate of mankind and Olympus has only just revealed a deeper mystery.
