Forest: Alien Star

The year 2125. World War broke out. Zhao Xing, a combat medic, was flying to the front lines aboard the Kunpeng transport plane. A missile struck along the way, sending the aircraft crashing onto an unknown deserted island deep in the Pacific. Of the more than a hundred people aboard, only Zhao Xing and the war correspondent Wang Zhi survived. Wang Zhi suffered a severe frontal-lobe injury in the crash. His mental development regressed to that of a child, and he lost his hearing in both ears. Zhao Xing found a sketchbook in Wang Zhi’s backpack and tried giving him instructions through drawings. While Zhao Xing searched the wreckage for medicine, Wang Zhi drew a strange figure in the book. “What did you see?” Zhao Xing hurriedly wrote on the page. Wang Zhi only smiled blankly and pointed into the depths of the shadowy jungle.
