A Poké Ball from the Start: Catching the Sword Immortal Empress!

The world Chen Heping found himself in was dangerous. There were martial artists who could blow up a mountain with a single punch, and waves of beasts that periodically invaded human civilization.

Many years later, as Chen Heping thought back on all the worlds he had experienced, he sighed wistfully. “Out of all those worlds, not one was a Pokemon world.”

Chen Heping glared indignantly at the righteous sword immortal, the wicked cult enchantress, the kemonomimi girl, the monster girl, the red-clad ghost woman, the succubus, the elf, the archangel, and the others standing before him.

“And then you tell me, System, that these are Pokemon?!”

During an interview, a reporter excitedly asked Chen Heping, humanity’s strongest fighter and the leader of the strongest civilian organization:

“Chief Chen, how did you persuade that beastwoman to fight her own kind?”

“...She isn’t a beastwoman. She’s from another world... Ahem, you can call her by her nickname in our organization: ‘Husky.’”

“Chief Chen, what about that angel from the West?”

“I’ll say it again! She isn’t an angel, and she isn’t from the West. She’s from the northwest of our country. Of course, you can call her by her nickname, ‘Northwest Hammer King’...”

“By the way, for this interview being broadcast around the world, how come your deputy leader, who loves being on TV, isn’t here? You know, ‘Pika God,’ ‘Pot Immortal’?”

“Oh, her? She’s here. She’s just practicing swordsmanship inside her ball.”
