The Dust and Dreams of Those Born in the 1980S

Born in the spring breeze of reform and opening up, and growing up in the great changes of the times, they are the post-80s generation who have high hopes but bear heavy burdens. From the college entrance examination with thousands of troops crossing the single-plank bridge, to the gold rush boom going south and north; from living in the corners of the city, to struggling to take root in the soaring housing prices. This is the struggle history of a generation, full of struggles between ideals and reality, and choices between temptation and perseverance. In these turbulent years, love is their harbor when they are tired, and it is also the warmest light on the way forward. Some people were childhood sweethearts, but lost to the long distance and material considerations; some people fell in love for the first time on campus, but finally waved helplessly in the graduation season; and some people met in the workplace and achieved each other through mutual support. This novel depicts the growth trajectory of a group of post-80s young people from youthful campus to complex society with delicate writing style. It not only tells about personal love, hatred and career ups and downs, but also how a generation protects the pure love in their hearts in the wave of the times, and how they never give up their struggle and responsibility for their dreams and life.
