In the vast interstellar universe, legend has it that there are star core fragments. Collecting the fragments can not only fulfill any wish, but also hide the ultimate secret of the birth of the universe. Ling Yue, the former ace captain who was falsely accused of defecting, drove the "Dawn" starship and embarked on a journey to find the star core fragments in order to clear his grievances and uncover the truth about his mentor's frame-up.​ On the way, he met Mo Tong, Lan, Amber and Ye Ren.
