God Is Dead

Grandma would often tell me stories about gods. She said that in ancient times, gods appeared on earth to protect our ancestors, dispel darkness and usher in light. She said that in recent times, gods existed in the world, imparting skills and granting miracles, and civilization prospered as a result. She also said that we are all children who grew up with the blessings of the gods, and are their most beloved and close beings. But I have never seen them, nor found any trace of them. I tried to explore it, but finally gave up. I gradually became resigned to the ordinary, and gradually began to regard the stories told by my grandma as fairy tales. Until one day, I saw that world. Meteors fell from the sky, the Kingdom of God was destroyed, and countless corpses of gods piled up on each other, dyeing the earth red and burying life.
