In Dali, Yunnan in the eighth year of Shaoxing during the Song Dynasty, miner Lao Guotou and his brothers went deep into the underground mines to make a living. Yunnan has been rich in gold since ancient times, but there is a strange legend of "dry muntjac" circulating in the mines - the deceased in the mining accident turned into an incorruptible corpse due to the nourishment of gold energy, and could not see the light of day. This setting interweaves folklore and monsters with the survival plight of miners, setting a gloomy and eerie tone.
