Leah sneaked into the company headquarters and discovered that the deadly spores were actually a variant of her "Gray Tide". Noah sacrificed himself to start the purification process, and flowers rained down from the sky. When the last blue flower fell, Leah picked up Noah's neural implant among the flowers. The shimmering light seems to be telling an unfinished spring.
