Douluo Dalu: Ice Soul Sword Martial Soul, Ice Phoenix Descends

After transmigrating to Douluo Dalu, Ji Lingchen was abandoned by his family in the Far North simply because he had awakened a broken iron sword. As a child alone in the Far North, he had no chance of surviving. After suffering from both hunger and cold, Ji Lingchen lost consciousness. Through sheer force of will, he made his way into the deepest reaches of the Far North. Legend had it that countless Ten-Thousand-Year Soul Beasts lived there, and even Titled Douluo were not sure they could make it out alive. That was because three supreme beings dwelled there! But Ji Lingchen had barely reached the depths before collapsing. Snow fell thick and fast, soon burying him from view. Just as he was about to die, a major event was unfolding in the Far North. One of its scorpion-shaped supreme beings was undergoing a ten-thousand-year tribulation. But something went wrong. A trace of the scorpion supreme being’s original power was accidentally lost. Without recovering it, she would never make it through the ten-thousand-year tribulation safely. After searching for a while, she discovered that her original power had been completely absorbed by a broken sword at the foot of a mountain. In an instant, the broken sword transformed. Its blade turned a clear, crystalline ice blue and began assembling itself. The scorpion supreme being was even more astonished to discover that a young Ice Phoenix had been born within the broken sword. Just approaching it slightly caused her own strength to grow rapidly. This was a rare auspicious beast of the Far North. As the scorpion supreme being was absorbed in the moment, she noticed the Ice Phoenix’s life quietly slipping away. Looking closer, she realized that the owner of the broken sword was freezing to death. The scorpion supreme being paled with fright. In a panic, she went to Ji Lingchen’s side and breathed icy air from her rosy lips. “Kid, you absolutely mustn’t die!”
