Lord of the Gray Marsh: Rise Through Biological Engineering

In a world with extraordinary power, can individuals really achieve class leaps through bravery? That's for sure! The more advanced the world becomes, the greater the importance of strength. Boxing is power. It is the strong who become the class, not the class who becomes the strong.

Just hold on and sink more and more in the future. What you have to do is how to retain people in the early stage, not how to do it more and more in the future! A majestic lord and a noble, but the people of the lord dare to openly oppose the lord and put pressure on the lord? It's been a long time coming. This is the first time I've read a Lord's article for so long. The key is not execution, but confiscation of all property and expulsion from the territory? Just demote them into slaves to mine or kill them. If they are released according to their temperament, they will be blind and irritating. (Don't tell me that these are words to awaken the consciousness of these numb people. I want to laugh.) Reading this book is all about you saying that this book is a harem novel, otherwise you would have run away (but after seeing more than a hundred chapters, the protagonist is still a eunuch), it is absolutely useless. (But you have advantages and can listen to opinions) I will wait for your next book and write more normally.

Concentrated answers to some questions raised by many book friends about the attitude of the people in the Gray Swamp Territory and Gray Mist Village Territory. 1. Are the villagers in Gray Mist Village too courageous? First of all, they are not serfs. The original villagers of Gray Mist Village are land-owning farmers and hunters. 2. Why didn't Verin turn them into serfs when he came? Isn't he a lord? When a new lord opens a territory, he will not directly turn everyone into serfs. Chapter 12 of "The Teutonic Knights: A Military History" mentions: "After the Crusaders conquered Livonia in the 13th century... Until the 15th century, most of the indigenous people were free taxpayers." Historically, in 1524, a large-scale peasant uprising broke out in the southern German-speaking region. The cause was that the lords forced more and more free people to become serfs. 3. Farmers are not brave either. The cultures of the West and the East are different. As for how bold the yeoman farmers are, from the 11th to the 16th century, peasant uprisings occurred one after another. Especially due to the spread of the great plague, the peasant population dropped sharply. As a result, lords often required peasants to farm land for the lord. For this reason, rent and interest reductions were the norm. 4. If the yeoman farmers are so disobedient, why not just buy some serfs? In Tsarist Russia, which has the strongest tradition of serfdom, in the 19th century, the production efficiency of homesteaders was about 30% higher than that of serfs. Western Europe started in the 11th century and was basically completed by the 15th century. (Please don't be so violent... If you are dissatisfied, you will be killed. The reign of terror is effective in the short term, but the long-term efficiency will become lower and lower. Furthermore, I believe in Weilin's ability, he will have a better way to rule than the feudal system.)

There will be a lot of debate in the comments of each chapter, and many readers will raise questions. The reason is very simple. There are indeed logical flaws, and there are many. Book friends who read regularly can easily see this. Many plots are forced by the author, and the protagonist often makes some inexplicable choices. If you put yourself into the protagonist's situation, you will find that according to the IQ of ordinary people, there are better choices, but the protagonist does not. That's fine, but you can't always emphasize in the narration that the protagonist has a high IQ and others are stupid, such as the villagers of Gray Mist Village. That would be too embarrassing.

Do you think you're here to see the protagonist's constant biological transformation? In fact, this part of the content is always written in one stroke. Most of it is about territorial things and interactions with other people. However, the plot and emotional writing are a mess. The introduction is obviously about writing experiments and attracting people in, but not writing. It's like thinking that the plot arrangement is wonderful.

A lord's annual profit is 50 gold, and a slave's annual profit is 30 gold. Then the monthly salary of a maid is almost 1 gold... To give an inappropriate example, 10% of a county's GDP is not excessive as profit, right? The GDP of an ordinary county in contemporary China is more than 20 billion. 10% Of it is more than 2 billion. You are equivalent to spending 1 billion to introduce a black African to settle down... To pay 1/50 of the profit to a civil servant, that is, to pay a civil servant a monthly salary of 40 million, one person... If you are not convinced, the average county-level fiscal revenue in the Han and Tang Dynasties was 50,000 taels of silver... 10% As profit would be 5,000 taels of silver. You have to spend 2,500 taels of silver to buy a Mongolian prisoner of war and pay a maid a monthly salary of 50 taels. The county magistrate does not have this kind of income 😅😅

There is a big problem with the conversion ratio of gold and silver coins to copper. Let's do the math. 1 Copper = 1 catty of bread (pounds are almost calculated in kilograms). A working farmer eats at least 3 kilograms a day, right? 90 Pounds per month is 7.5 Silver, and 90 silver = 4.5 Gold per year. Prices have collapsed. In a medium-sized barony, a net profit of 50 gold per year is the annual ration for 11 farmers? What about the Chicken Feather Baron? It took me three years as a baron to buy a green weapon? A baron family with 5 parents and children would eat about the same quality in a day. Calculated at 30 coppers, the family would have to eat 45 golds a year, which is a year's profit. As you said, the earl's annual profit is 1,000 gold and 200 farmers' annual rations. Are you saying that this is the annual net profit of several cities? A count earns 3 pieces of plate armor in a year? You set the prices so clearly, have you ever calculated them carefully yourself? The median annual income of a landless knight is 40 gold, which is about the net profit of a barony. 25 Landless knights are enough to earn the income of the most rubbish earl. That is, the salary of 25 workers = the net income of several towns + dozens of villages. 1,000 Gold is only enough to feed 220 farmers for a year.

You have so many dramas in your heart as a maid, what's the point of showing off? How to see and how to respond

It's frustrating to see me always reacting passively, and I don't want to chase anymore😮‍💨

The little poison in front of me can be tolerated, but the staff-making villagers in that village really can't bear it. The protagonist has diluted the obvious supernatural means, but the villagers have a protagonist playing in the mud. It really made me laugh.
