The Legend of Chi Ji

Chi Ji, whose real name was Yan Qubing (his father hoped that he could cure his illness and recover), was born in a famous medical family in the Chen Dynasty. His father, Yan Yonghe, worked as an imperial doctor in his early years, specializing in diagnosing and treating patients for Emperor Chen Wu and his harem. After Prince Jiawen of the Southern Jin Dynasty sought help three times, he was finally willing to come out and help him restore the country. He successively helped Prince Jiawen defeat political opponents such as Min Baxian, Lin Songyuan, and Zhuang Qingzhai in the Chen Dynasty court. He returned to the imperial hospital where his father had been and found clues about his father Zhaoxue. Then he uncovered the tragedy of Emperor Wu's annihilation of the Southern Jin royal family, and finally assisted Prince Jiawen in restoring the country, and finally decided to return to the mountains and forests.
