Alistair Starts a Tabletop RPG Campaign

The classic amnesia from the start: what keeps the DM jumping into the action?

A wildly improvised build: what makes the protagonist skip levels every day?

Why does every opening roll get a critical success? What does it mean to get a critical failure at the worst possible moment? I don't get it~

The hidden dice being rolled determine how the story unfolds.

“My name is Alaister. If you don't mind, you can call me Alai.”

The reborn boy who transmigrated to another world has lost his memories. His past is bound up in layers of schemes, and he resolves to forge his own path through this confusing, chaotic world.

“I'm both a bard and a summoner. One writes the ending, the other rewrites the story. That's just how wild I am.” Standing at the top of the world, Alai smiled politely.

“But no matter what, I will not marry any of you!” Seeing the creatures pursuing him from behind, Alai jumped straight off the mountaintop and made a run for home.

If he could do it all over again, Alai swore he would never have opened that red love letter. Then he wouldn't have ended up in this predicament. But...

Looking at the lovely figure blocking the teleportation passage ahead, Alai wiped the sweat from his brow and said awkwardly, “Um, how about we go back together?”

[A DND-like world with lots of original worldbuilding, so please bear with me. Most of the time, the dice decide everything: roughly 60% classic adventure, 30% intrigue, and 10% romance.]
