The Volunteer Corps of Ash and Fantasy

In Grimgar, the kingdom was struck by a devastating attack. Dark forces swept in, and the King of Death was about to devour all living beings and turn the world into a wasteland. Humans, goblins, forest elves, dwarves, and every other race rallied beneath one banner. Heroes and eight hundred champions fought their way forward. And so, the King of Death was defeated, and peace returned to Grimgar. Not long afterward, the people offered a song to the heroes setting out on a new journey. That’s right. The song went like this: Gather the light and vanquish the darkness, leaving hope behind The hero Natsuki sets out on a journey to distant lands Let us sing here the song that celebrates the hero Ah, what a glorious, shining journey With the power to change the world The hero raises and swings their sword A small body holds great courage Light the hero’s path, and take flight Despair darkens the world, cutting off all hope and laying down arms Yet the light of countless bonds shines on, unyielding Countless thoughts and colors blend beneath the hero Becoming the power to shatter despair and destroy the darkness
