Fox Spirit Matchmaker: Memories of Rong

A reimagining based on Fox Spirit Matchmaker. In his previous life, Fang Qingchu guarded the Eastern Border. Now he works at a hospital, where he happens to meet Li Xueyang and Fan Yunfei. By a twist of fate, he also encounters Tu Shan Rongrong, his lover from before her reincarnation. Pressed by financial hardship, he signs away his freedom. As his memories gradually return, threats from beyond the Circle begin to emerge one after another. (I wrote this book because I’m so fond of Rongrong, and I also wanted to make up for some of Fox Spirit Matchmaker’s regrets. Wouldn’t it have been great if Honghong had reached out and kept Dongfang Yuechu back then? If the Masked Heroes hadn’t died? If Susu and her Taoist brother, and Honghong and her goofy Taoist, had each been able to live their own lives? Then Bai Yuechu wouldn’t have to worry about that little rascal anymore. In the modern-day story, Rongrong takes the lead, while in the flashback, well, it’s the other way around. I don’t plan to drag out the romance.)
