High Martial: You Abandoned Me? Then I'll Become a Zerg Calamity

In 3185, the Galactic Alliance sent fifteen squads to the Perseus constellation to stop an insectoid invasion. To prevent the coordinates of their location from being leaked, all of Blue Star's inhabitants refused to let Zhou Yu return after completing his mission, abandoning the entire team for good.

“You're all going to die anyway, so you might as well burn a little brighter.”

“This is your duty. Don't worry, we'll remember what you did for us.”

“Don't you understand that sacrificing a few to protect the many is the right thing to do?”

“Whether you like it or not, this is the decision of all humanity.”

“Go in peace. I'll lay flowers at your tombstone. Isn't that enough?”

Watching his comrades fall one after another, even though they could have survived, Zhou Yu gave a bitter smile.

“We risked our lives for the Alliance, and now you're abandoning me? If I get another life, I'd rather not be human.”

As Zhou Yu teetered on the brink of death, the voice of a System suddenly rang in his mind.

[Ding! Supreme Insectoid System activated]

From that moment on, Zhou Yu became the Insect King, creating an insectoid calamity that fed on the stars, devouring, reproducing, and evolving at a frenzied pace.

Years later, as the insectoid calamity engulfed Blue Star and looked down upon all, countless humans fell to their knees, wailing with regret.

“Zhou Yu, spare us! You were one of us once!”

Zhou Yu: “Humans? You're nothing but nourishment for me!”
