Summer Internship: Isn't Building a Mecha a Bit Much?

“In light of the Sakura wastewater discharge incident, this summer’s homework will include an additional related practical activity.”

Faced with their homeroom teacher’s outrageous demand, the students came up with all sorts of countermeasures.

Student A: “Easy! I’ll visit a scenic spot and experience the incident’s impact. That counts as practical work, right?”

Student B: “Researching Lamborghini Lego sets counts as practical work, right?”

Student C: “A 45-day in-depth study of the food on Snack Street counts as practical work, right?”

“Zhou Yu, what are you planning to do?”

When the students, each sharing their own ideas, turned to Zhou Yu, he merely shrugged.

“My practical project is to build a mecha.”

As soon as he said it, the other students mocked him. One of the troublemakers even livestreamed his claim online.

Before long, the internet was in an uproar.

Comments came pouring in, calling him all flash and no substance, an unrealistic dreamer, and a big talker who didn’t even bother to make up a convincing story.

But it wasn’t long before a video titled “Monkey King No. 1 (Prototype) Test Footage” appeared online.

The whole world was stunned.
