Ascension!

Poetry is power. After transmigrating to the world of Yanfu, Yu Lang discovers that it is a world of immortal cultivation, where people can also cultivate immortality through reading. In this world, any poetry, prose, or song of sufficient quality can draw down the energy of heaven and earth as soon as it is written. Cultivators can then use this energy to comprehend the “Dao” contained within it! For this reason, every cultivator in the land considers it an honor to befriend a great literary scholar. However, ever since several great immortal sects overthrew the Human Emperor’s rule and established the Cultivation Federation, no great poet has emerged in this world for hundreds of years.
