Ming China in the Late Ming Dynasty

Many books about the late Ming Dynasty seem to me to be nothing more than daydreams. The author uses alternate history, and there is nothing wrong with historical novels. However, their turn came too fast and too violent. The rejuvenation and rise of a country does not come from the military talent and political means of a powerful person, but from the correct path and a sound fundamentals. The high mountains and dangers cannot stop the Chinese nation from advancing in the rapid stream of history. Because we are good enough, becoming the master of the world is not what we pursue. What we pursue is to be the helmsman who leads the world forward.
