Investiture of the Gods: Starting at Xuanyuan Tomb

Before chaos separated Heaven and Earth, all was in turmoil, vast and indistinct, unseen by any living soul. It is said that the principles governing Heaven and Earth are beyond human power to determine. Jiang Li woke up one day to find himself the older brother of a fox demon from Xuanyuan Tomb, a figure never recorded in later generations. All he wanted was to protect his little sister, but he gradually realized that the Investiture of the Gods seemed somewhat different from what he had imagined. Because Jiang Li had appeared, the three demons of Xuanyuan Tomb had somehow become his little sister Susu, the Jade Pipa, and himself? The nine-headed pheasant demon Hu Ximei had somehow already died at the hands of the Dragon Clan before she even appeared? Decades later, Jiang Li watched the Celestial Immortals of the Chan School singing and dancing on the Investiture Altar, then turned to Sect Master Tongtian. “So you only did all that back then because you thought it would be fun, right?” Lighthearted story, faux-invincible protagonist, Primordial World setting
