Tokyo Card Maker: I Have an Illustrated Guide to the Classic of Mountains and Seas

Ji Xuan transmigrates into a card-making world with an Onmyoji setting.

Here, traditional Onmyoji arts coexist with modern card abilities.

People here practice occult arts, create cards, and summon shikigami to fend off invading demons.

Contracted shikigami cards are the most important means of combat.

But from the start, Ji Xuan, who comes from Huaxia, discovers that he cannot summon the shikigami of Neon. Things get off to a bad start!

The good news is that he awakens the Classic of Mountains and Seas Illustrated Compendium, allowing him to summon all kinds of divine beasts from its pages to fight for him!

And so, the first divine beast, Bi Fang, comes into being!

It’s time to show this world what the wondrous creatures of the Classic of Mountains and Seas are!

[Seed of Falling Flame] + [Fusang Tree Branch] + [Essence of the Sun] = [Great Sun Golden Crow], whose golden flames possess a fearsome power capable of destroying everything;

[Breath of Mists] + [Light of Wisdom] + [Whispers of Ghosts and Gods] = [Bai Ze], who understands all things and knows ghosts and gods, supreme in wisdom and a bringer of auspicious blessings;

[Jade of Creation] + [Heart of Creation] + [Soul of Annihilation] = [Yinglong], a mighty god embodying creation, the making of all things, and annihilation;

[Jade Pendant of Zhong Mountain] + [Eye of the Heavenly God] + [Origin of Time and Space] = [Zhu Jiuyin], who brings day when he opens his eyes and night when he closes them, supreme above heaven and earth.

One powerful being after another from the Huaxia Classic of Mountains and Seas is summoned by Ji Xuan, driving back the demons and striking awe into the world.

Years later, Ji Xuan, [Lord of the Heavenly Court], [God of Card Makers], and [Master of the Classic of Mountains and Seas], gazes down upon the cosmos.

“Being invincible really is lonely...”
