Showbiz: Want to Survive? Then Sing Until the Audience Cries

Gu Chen was reborn with no parents and no fixed place to live.

That year, he was diagnosed with terminal rectal cancer. It had already spread extensively and metastasized. The news hit like a bolt of lightning.

With less than seven days to live, he fell into despair. That night, he went out onto the balcony to end his life.

But at that very moment, he awakened a Singing Therapy System!

His beginner's gift pack gave him a perfect, heart-rending singing voice and an all-purpose adaptive-tuning guitar.

As long as he earned enough fan points, the System would ease his cancer pain and increase his recovery rate.

To stay alive, he started livestreaming. The first song he sang was “Just an Ordinary Person” from "Dying to Survive".

As the number of people in the livestream grew, his fan points kept rising too.

Everyone who came in and heard Gu Chen sing began to cry.

They thought of their loved ones suffering from illness, and all kinds of experiences they had been through.

When he sang his second song, “Father,” they were in even more floods of tears!

“Waaah... What could the streamer have gone through to write and sing such heartbreaking songs?”

“Waaah, I miss my dad!”

“Streamer, we're alike. I have... too.”

“I have so much life ahead of me. I don't want to die yet...”

“Mom, Dad, Grandma, Grandpa, I miss you!”
