I Came from the Abyss

After the Great Cataclysm, the decrepit old world split in two. The present world became a paradise for humanity, while the abandoned old lands came to be known as the Abyss. Strange forces swept across the land. Unusual gods, demons, and Buddhas filled the skies, breeding corruption and depravity. On disaster-ravaged lands, bizarre creatures lurked as humanity struggled to survive. The shattered world awaited a hero's salvation, and the mysterious Abyss needed brave adventurers to explore it. But none of that... concerns me. I'm a transmigrator from a distant world. In the Abyss, where everyone else fears to tread, I run a prison and regularly offer people free admission.
