A Wonderful Journey to Immortality

What is the art of wondrous painting? It is a path to the Dao through painting. With a brush in hand, one can command the world, sweeping ink across the page with no equal! This immortal can paint every famous mountain and river across countless miles, amazing ghosts and gods and moving heaven and earth! This immortal can depict all 365 celestial constellations and deities above, as well as the 72 heroes and beauties below, mastering the very essence of creation! Behold the wondrous painter immortal, clad in blue and standing between heaven and earth. With one painting, he splits open the heavens. Casting a cool glance at those arrogant beings enthroned beyond the heavens, he casually declares, “Generals, heed my command. Follow me, Lu Yun, and let us behold the gods of this world!” “The divine axe spirits open the giant stone, the jeweled lotus lamp shines bright and clear. Chen Xiang answers the call!” “Who among heroes fears ghosts or gods? I cleave demon scales with a thousand-foot furious tide. Nezha answers the call!” “With a proud heart, I reject the heavenly family; with an arrogant soul, I return to serve the gods at Guanjiang. Your subordinate Yang Jian answers the call!” “Above Aolai, mist; blossoms fill the air. One mighty stroke of the sea-calming staff summons a tide of ten thousand demons. Beyond the Eastern Sea, within the Curtain Cave, I rival the heavens and make the immortals bow. Old Sun is here!”
