The Matchmaker's Darling

Walk the same road often enough, and you'll eventually meet a ghost. Work in matchmaking long enough, and you'll meet a few lunatics who blame their beds for their infertility. Bai Xiaoxiao, a top matchmaker, was shoved into the ancient past by a male client struggling with infertility. She became the official matchmaker of the Great Xia dynasty. She was also bound to the Matchmaker System, which is useless at everything except droning on like Tang Sanzang. But she's not afraid. The Red Threads of Heaven belong to the Matchmaker God; earthly matches belong to Bai Xiaoxiao. Descended from a disgraced minister? No problem. She'll work hard and clear the family name. Not part of the upper ranks? No matter. She can rise all the way to the highest official post. Watch her soar to the heavens and look down on a world of wealth and splendor. But if she doesn't marry, her colleagues will force her into a match... now that's awkward. She's brought together countless couples, yet she can't find a partner for herself? System, give me a steel Red Thread and tie me to that sickly, possessive prince!
