This book reminded me of one of my own settings. That's the metal zerg. The second form can be considered to be developed into an insect nest. The insect nest I have here is not a defenseless building, but a giant space fortress that produces troops and has sufficient firepower. Use stars as energy sources (space is compressed and contained within the body.) Asteroids or dwarf planets or even planets are used as resources. Marines, space battleships, and fighter planes composed of metal lifeforms swept across everything.

The subject matter is very innovative, but the plot is a bit playful without the end of the world. The atmosphere and despair of human beings are going extinct. The protagonist is like a child and feels that he has no previous life and has lived in this world for more than ten years. Imagine the serious and oppressive atmosphere in war movies such as Dunkirk, not to mention that the human race is almost extinct and the people are asked to participate in evolution with such a high mortality rate. Shouldn't this be more serious?

Does this kind of novel treat human nature like a fool? I have read a book like this before, by an author I like to read, but I haven't read it since. One-tenth is extraordinary, even one percent is terrifying. If there is no other way, evolution has begun. Is it a question of whether you think about it or not?

I'm not saying that I feel that the protagonist has the potential of a virgin.
