Reborn, She Raises Her Devoted Husband into a Fish

Sheng Nanxi gets a second chance at life and pursues Jiang Beilin like a proper young lady, but he rejects her again and again. Finally, on a stormy night, he tells her, “You don’t know the real me yet. Once you do, you’ll run away.” Sheng Nanxi gazes at him with determination. “I won’t.” Jiang Beilin lowers his eyes, water still beading on his head. “Sheng Nanxi, I’ll ask you just once. No matter what I’m like, you won’t abandon me?” Sheng Nanxi’s gaze remains firm. “That’s right.” At last, Jiang Beilin breaks free of the shackles of his thoughts and embraces her without holding back. He whispers in her ear, “Xixi, since you chose me, don’t leave me. The truth is...” He is ill, suffering from a serious psychological disorder. His need for control and possession is overwhelming.
