The Corpse Is Talking

Thirty years ago, rifts to another world appeared on Earth. Monsters from beyond the rifts drove humanity back again and again, costing us most of our territory.

It was only after some people were affected by “otherworldly factors” and gained supernatural abilities that humanity began to turn the tide. They reclaimed lost territory and built defensive lines in front of the rifts.

Unfortunately, humans cannot control their abilities at will. They can only be unleashed when the body begins to fall apart after death. These abilities are therefore known as “death words.”

Thirty years later, Shi Ti jolts awake in his senior-year classroom. A high school student and an ability user, he realizes that someone just killed him in class, but he somehow came back to life through his “death word”!

Gazing at the banner on the wall reading “60 Days Until the College Entrance Exam,” Shi Ti flips his desk and shouts furiously:

“To hell with the college entrance exam! I’ve been killed, so what the hell am I supposed to take it for? Which bastard killed me anyway?!”

But Shi Ti has no idea that he has already been swept into a vortex of enormous conspiracies.

Disasters from another world, hostile foreign races, baffling conspiracies, and an uncertain future; an admirer with a twisted past, a fun-loving detective on Baker Street, a moon princess trapped in a cage of lies, and a Hanged Man betrayed by the sun and by luck…

It all begins on the day that the high school student named “Shi Ti” comes back to life!

In short, this is probably a story about the protagonist and a bunch of dependable teammates who insult each other, argue, speak in riddles, and look for fun, as they work together to beat the stuffing out of otherworldly monsters and save all of humanity.
