Retreating Against the Light

Stories heard through the grapevine, some strange, some absurd, some filled with unwillingness, and some with resentment. This is what life ought to be like: tasting every flavor of joy and sorrow, then suddenly looking back to find that the greatest blessing is simply that I am still alive, living for the sake of living.
