People often say Shen Xinjing is like Hua Mulan. Only she knows that the maturity and coldness beyond her years came from the past two years of training. In the end, we must remember the one we can never forget as time passes, and grow into stronger versions of ourselves.

Xiao Lanmo was that kind of person in Shen Xinjing's life, planted in her heart to withstand the passage of time.

Shen Xinjing has returned to Beijing. The familiar uniform enters her field of vision, stabbing at her heart. Everything she wanted to escape turns out to be everywhere in her life. She quickly looks away, turns around, and starts walking along the route she remembers.

From Jun'an University of Science and Technology to Jinming University, from undergraduate studies to graduate school, what happened between Shen Xinjing and Xiao Lanmo over those four years? Why did Shen Xinjing return to Beijing alone? Who will she meet, and what will happen? What is the tangled connection between that stranger from the beginning and Shen Xinjing?
