When I was writing about my childhood, I had so many thoughts that I couldn't start when I actually wrote it. The scene transitions were too stiff. I knew some details were meaningless but I wrote them out anyway. The writing was superficial and lacked depth, and it looked like a running account. When reading novels in the future, you should still pay attention to how the author does these aspects.
