If you want to get ahead in the apocalyptic genre now, you have to have an attractive beginning that will make people addicted immediately, a completely realistic apocalypse, especially in the zombie biochemical genre. You must either set up suspense at the beginning, or use something fantasy and science fiction as a gimmick, otherwise a realistic beginning will not please readers.
