The Little Fox in His Palm: Gu Shao's Fingertip Darling

This is the heartwarming story of a national sweetheart's rise to happiness, and the bittersweet struggle of an overbearing pet owner. When Gu Moshen met Bai Pengpeng, it was like a meteor crashing into Earth. Men all love enchantresses. Bai Pengpeng's greatest wish was to leap from being a barely known actress to becoming a national sweetheart, and steal the heart of her dream man, Gu Moshen. She never expected her wish to come true... Uh... Why doesn't she feel even a little excited? Being transmigrated into the body of a little fox was one thing, but she also accidentally swallowed a shrinking pill. Now she was an enchantress in the truest sense of the word. Ahem... This enchantress was just so, so... tiny. She was only a little bigger than a thumb. How was she supposed to win over her dream man? The night Gu Moshen, head of the Gu Group, ran into Bai Pengpeng, his whole worldview was turned upside down. He had always hated keeping pets, but somehow he ended up as a scooper of poop. And the little fox he was raising was rather unusual, ahem... Meals were counted by the grain. Water was counted by the drop. A breeze could blow her away, rain could drench her, and one careless step could crush her to death. Most terrifying of all: he opened the bathroom door and found that the thumb-sized fox had turned into a thumb-sized girl. Even more terrifying: the thumb-sized girl turned into a grown woman. And even more terrifying: he carried the grown woman to bed, only for her to suddenly turn back into a thumb-sized girl and nearly get squashed into a meat patty beneath him. Gu Moshen declared: Being a pet owner is no easy job. One day, Bai Pengpeng made the entertainment headlines and was crowned the national sweetheart. Bai Pengpeng: "Dream guy, do you have a girlfriend?" Gu Moshen: "No." Bai Pengpeng: "You do now." Gu Moshen secretly rejoiced, but kept his face perfectly composed. "I'm not too fond of enchantresses, but I suppose I could make an exception for you." "Dream guy, you're reading too much into it. I just need you to practice lines with me. You can play my boyfriend in the show for now." Bai Pengpeng picked up the script and tossed it to Gu Moshen. "I'm not an actor..." "Just pretend, okay?" "..." Gu Moshen reluctantly glanced over the script. The next day, the actor playing the second male lead was suddenly replaced. "Gu Moshen, what happened?" "..."
